Small town girl…born and raised in Avonlea, SK. (a.k.a. “God’s Country”) and currently residing there after stints at various stops in the province, and one out of country teaching English to a rowdy bunch of British boys. Interesting times…

I am currently a curriculum consultant with the Prairie South School Division; ELA and PAA are my primary portfolios. In my eight year career I’ve taught students from Grades 3 – 10, every subject except for French, and dabbled with Special Education and Administration along the way.

I love sports…volleyball, fastball, slo-pitch, golf and in desperate times have even curled! When I’m not playing I’m usually watching – gotta support the local talent!!

Family and friends fill my time…I’m truly blessed to be part of the circle I have, affectionately known as “The Gong Show”. I love music…most anything, but especially alternative rock and would like to read more than I do. I’ve seen very little of the world, despite living overseas for a year, so hope to continue my travels as finances permit…wish me luck!

This is the second time I’ve attempted to blog…I expect because it is a requirement of my masters class that I will be better at following through with actually writing in it…go figure. Who knows…I may even come to enjoy blogging!!?? Time will tell….
